While India has a great tradition of dialogue and debate and a modern democratic system, EMPI identified that the country needs to make significant changes to transit from a Representative Democracy to a Deliberative Democracy with the creation of Think Tanks that can anticipate and shape futures, in line with EMPI's philosophy of Innovating Futures. EMPI has helped, designed and found engagement platforms for involving 'young thinkers'  from all walks of life to enable a culture of 'structured discourse on national issues' as also supporting Governance processes in the country.
