Tell about Yourself
Hi! I’m vashita baweja. I graduated from Delhi university with a degree in Political Science. Though I’ve learnt many theoretical subjects during that time however I’m glad that now during my PGDM I have been exposed to the business environment. Throughout my academics I’ve been very participative in extra curricular activities and have been awarded as state level debate winner, inter-zone declamation winner and won many other accolades. I’ve always believed in expanding my horizons by learning something new be it new subjects or even a new skill.
Why did you choose EMPI for your Post Graduate Studies?
EMPI has been the best decision for me! There are so many reasons for choosing this college over any other institute. The college’s lush green campus with beautiful infrastructure including the AI Lab, Gym, a vast Library and many other amenities make it a perfect learning destination. It constantly engages it’s students with successful business personalities in the form of industry interaction sessions which infact has actually been a very good exercise giving us useful insights from professionals.
Moreover the college is very empathetic and warm towards its student and it takes every possible step in nurturing his/her performance .
I really liked the placements and summer internship opportunities that were offered us all. I’ve done three internships in well known companies like Atal incubation center, SMC global securities and Lotus Herbals. Talking about the academics, it has curated its syllabus very thoughtfully. It’s professors are highly trained in their respective domains and each of them is an asset for EMPI. They teach with interest and lay a heavy focus on making students acquainted with the concept’s business application.

How have you been enriched in the last 2 years through your educational journey at EMPI?
The two years at EMPI have been very enriching. Since I have Business Analytics and Marketing as my specialization, which are in great demand, I was pushed to pay a lot of attention on the practical aspects. I’m today a completely changed person, from being just a graduate having basic knowledge of a subject to mastering skills like python, branding, SAS, advance excel etc. and also equipping myself with multiple certificates.
I believe I’m totally ready to enter the corporate world with confidence. EMPI has blessed me with not just a degree rather equipped me fully with skills and guidance needed to embark upon a successful career.
What would say is your identity as an EMPIan?
As an EMPIan, I stand for being a considerate, focused and formal person having strong work ethics. I’m inculcated with being honest and respectful towards people and ideas. I am flexible in my approach and have been taught to be adaptive and adjustable and look at the positive side of every situation in life.
Equipped with these values and ideals, I am now looking forward to the future to learn, grow and contribute to the best of my ability.
