Industrial Visit to Inland Container Depot
The students of EMPI visited ICD (Inland container Depot) situated in Bawal (Haryana). It is a dry port where various International trading activities are done. Captain Sanjeev Rishi is the Chief Executive Officer of ICD and also a visiting faculty at EMPI Business School. The students were guided about the various processes involved and they visited the Department of Domestic Cargo, Import, Export and the Warehouse where HERO motorbikes were ready to be exported to Malaysia. They also explained that how the Custom Documentation and the Licensing Procedure is done. Students learnt about how a dry port works and got an exposure to the Export Import Business.
