The students of EMPI Business School visited the 11th International Franchise & Retail Show on 19th Oct, 2013 at Pragati Maiden, New Delhi. The event showcased 500+ Indian Brands, 75+ Global Brands, along with 150+ Global experts, 3 parallel conferences, 20+ Industry pavilions.

 

The visit was led by Prof.(Dr.) G. Kathuria , wherein students were exposed to the world of franchising and entrepreneurship. Each student was assigned the task of interacting with at least five organizations and explore the details about their product profile, their marketing mix, their business plan, the Return on Investment on the opportunity etc.

 

The visit turned out to be very useful, as it helped the students to practically understand the intricacies of starting the business, understanding and developing a business plan, understanding the marketing strategies and expansion plans, besides students got a chance to interact with corporate officials of the business organizations which invariably boosted lot of their confidence and morale.
